Construction of the New Pavilion

Here are some photos of the construction of the new pavilion - completed in 2001.

A plan of the new pavilion is shown below. This building is more than twice as large as the previous building.

First of all we had to knock the old one down and clear the site - demolition did not take long!.

Setting out the location for the new building was helped by the quagmire of a site being frozen !
